Social Media Account Executive (Mid-Level)

Job Description:

Grassroots Creative Agency is seeking a dynamic and skilled Social Media Account Executive to join our team. As a mid-level executive, you will be responsible for managing multiple social media accounts, planning and creating engaging content, and ensuring the successful execution of social media campaigns for our diverse portfolio of clients. Your role will be pivotal in driving brand awareness, engagement, and growth for our clients across various social media platforms. 


  • Account Management: Oversee at least five social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding, voice, and messaging for each client while actively engaging with their audiences. 
  • Client Communication: The ideal candidate will be confident and adept at communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and providing regular updates on social media strategies, performance, and results. 
  • Content Planning and Development: You will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and developing compelling social media content across various platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok. 
  • Content Creation and Storyboarding: Demonstrate a keen eye for content creation, and the ability to develop storyboards for visual content, graphics, and videos that align with each client’s brand identity. 
  • Post Scheduling: Efficiently manage social media content schedules, ensuring that posts are timely, relevant, and aligned with the overall marketing objectives of each client. 
  • Creativity and Initiative: Display creativity and the ability to think outside the box when crafting social media content and campaigns. Show initiative in generating fresh ideas and approaches to engage audiences effectively. 
  • Deadline Adherence: Manage time effectively and confidently adhere to deadlines, ensuring that social media campaigns and content are delivered on time and meet quality standards. 
  • Community Management: Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 
  • Social Media Trends: Stay informed about the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to keep our clients ahead of the curve and maximize their online presence. 
  • Microsoft and Canva Proficiency: Possess a strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and Canva, to create comprehensive client-facing content plans and reports.

  • Agency Background: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an agency setting is required, as you will be expected to bring expertise and knowledge of industry best practices to drive success for our clients. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, or related fields. 
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts and executing successful campaigns. 
  • Strong English writing and communication skills with a flair for creative content. 
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms. 
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively. Passion for social media, digital marketing, and a finger on the pulse of the ever-changing landscape.
